Notice of Infringement – Claim

  4. Contact information of the complaining party;
  5. A statement affirming the unauthorized use of the material;
  6. A statement verifying the accuracy of the information provided.

Section 512(f) of Title 17 USC outlines penalties for providing false information in a copyright infringement notification under section 512(c)(3).

Counter Notification – Restoration of Material

If material has been removed due to a copyright claim, you can file a counter notification to request its restoration. Your written notification must include:

  1. Your signature;
  2. A description of the removed material and its original location;
  3. A statement asserting the removal was a result of mistake;
  4. Your contact information and consent to legal jurisdiction.

Repeat Infringer Policy
